Latin American Chamber of Commerce Foundation for Small Business Empowerment Corp. (LACCSBE) was officially incorporated as a not-for-profit organization on May 2, 2024, acquiring legal status under registration number 7330183. Subsequently, the organization obtained tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRS), reaffirming its non-profit nature and its commitment to community development. Its creation stems from the shared vision of a group of business owners and community leaders committed to the economic, educational, and social empowerment of the Hispanic community in the United States. Inspired by the need for an entity that would effectively represent and support Latino small and medium-sized businesses, the founders spearheaded the formation of a chamber of commerce dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, business training, and the creation of job opportunities for Hispanic migrants and entrepreneurs. The Chamber was established thanks to the vision, commitment, and effort of a group of founding business owners and community leaders who combined their skills, leadership, and experience to achieve a common mission: to contribute to the sustainable development of Latino businesses and promote their active participation in the local and national economy.
